Alok Kumar is a 1988-batch Indian Administrative Service Officer (IAS) of the Uttar Pradesh cadre and presently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India. A B.Tech from IIT, Roorkee, Kumar’scareer spans 30 years of service where he has held various administrative positions in revenue, transport, power, housing, urban planning and handicrafts sectors.
